Ho-hum

I sure wish I could put photos on! (Hint hint, Rick,) So much has been going on! We had some guests, plus another baby goat! Rrgh!

SORRY!

Okay, I won't be putting up any posts for a while, my computer doesn't work. When I put my memory card in, the computer doesn't register it. So, no posts for a while. But I will TELL you that we had two baby goats early this morning. Unfortunately one didn't make. We don't know if it was born gone, or if Mama didn't know what to do since this is her first one. My husband Rick went out and he wrapped it up before I could see it. Thank you, Rick. I only wish that we could've been there for it.
But the other one is okay! He's (yes, it's a boy.) VERY hungry! I wish we could've seen them born. But we were still in bed when it happened. Darn!

2nd Swim

Today the duckies took their second swim!!!!! At first they didn't like it but then as they swam for a little while they got used to it.

The red circle is Jay, the yellow circle is Alex, the white circle is London, the black circle is Birdie, and the blue circle is Robin.

Alright, so I didn't get any photos of them swimming, but they did swim.

Now for the bird's eye view! Get it? BIRD's eye view? Never mind.

The white circle is Alex, the blue circle is Robin, the yellow circle is London, the red circle is Birdie, and the black circle is Jay.

Alright, now when you get in there, you gotta paddle, paddle like you never paddled before.

(Alex) But we don't really know how to swim, we don't have a Mama to show us how.

That's why were gonna practice. Know do you wanna swim? YEAH!!!

Who's guilty?

(Deep narrating voice.) It was an ordinary morning, I went to get a coffee at the cafe, when I heard a scream. A damsel's scream to be specific. I knew it was a case. For I am a Private Eye.
I immediately started looking for clues. When I stumbled upon one.

They seemed to be some footprints. Made by flour. To small to be a teenage boy ones. Perfect for little girls....

Then I found the victim. Limp, dead.

I examined her, I found the wound.

(Normal voice.) All clean!!!!

A Guest

A couple days ago we had a guest! We were baby sitting him for  a friend and he really likes my sister's dog Bella, (www.afarmdog.blogspot.com) and she tried to marry him, but he had other ideas. Anyway, here is a picture of him.

HI!!!!!!

The baby goats are getting BIG! Plus, they were born on the first day of Spring! One baby is kind of weak but I gave it a vitamin booster so she should get better. Oh, did I mention? They're both girls!!! 

Yesterday my husband Rick was SO nice and bought me my own instant camera so I didn't have to borrow my daughters DSi!!!! Isn't he sweet??!!!!!!!!!

A Miracle

Last night my husband Rick went out to trim the goats hooves and he came in and said, "Well, I'm gonna go back out to the goats, I think Honey is having her babies, and smiled. I got up and ran out the door. Quietly we went inside and waited. For a while she had contractions. She got up and down up and down. She couldn't get comfortable. She did this for about an hour then she started to push by now almost all the family was out there. Let's see.. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, where's the Other Boy? (His nickname.) Oh wait, he's inside playing his video games. One of my daughters went inside and told him to come out. But he was to busy feeding on electricity. Anyway. here's some pictures.  She did that for a while and I went out to get some shavings for the babies. I spread them out then we waited for about another half hour. Then she REALLY started to push. Hey, what's that? A head!!! A baby's head!! Wait, it's feet are supposed to come out first! I put out on one of my gloves, I had to go in. I tried pushing it's head back in, no it won't work. So I slid in under it's head and grabbed it's feet. Thank you Rick for hold in her down. I grabbed it's feet and pulled them out. There. Now honey gave a couple more pushes and it slid right out. We used a puppy pad and dried it off. Wow! Those lessons on the computer paid off! I watched videos on how to do that! Dang!! That baby is really big! I grabbed another puppy pad and dried off the baby. Here's some pictures.
